Biography
Born a Buckeye, I became a New Yorker at the age of 4, living in the wilds of Ausable Forks. At the age of 15, I spent 3 months back in Akron, Ohio, prior to moving to the inner city of Rochester, NY. The opposite of urban is rural, which was what I needed for my life, and that led me to pursue my degrees in Agriculture. Returning to Saranac Lake in 1985, I met Patrick while I was working at The Whiteface Resort. After a few years in Albany, we returned to the Adirondacks to raise our family. Following 10 years in banking, I returned to Education in many capacitites. I cannot imagine a more challenging and rewarding career.
